Branch Line Solar Project
Sedgwick County Board of Commissioners are scheduled to consider the applications for both the Galena and Branch Line Solar Projects on Wednesday, August 5th at 9 a.m. at the lower level auditorium, Ruffin Bldg, 100 N Broadway.
With respect to the Branch Line Solar (TED) Project, the Clearwater City Council passed a resolution opposing the project and forwarded a letter to the Sedgwick County Board of Commissioners asking for careful consideration of the project’s approval.
The City has been contacted by Mr. Ian Edwards, Sr Manager, Project Development for TED Renewable requesting to meet with the city regarding the Branch Line Solar Project. An invitation has been extended for Mr. Edwards to appear before the City Council tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14th at Clearwater City Hall. The meeting starts at 6:00.
At this point we do not have confirmation he or a representative will attend but wanted to alert the community just in case.
City council meetings are open, and the public are welcome to attend. This will be an opportunity for Mr. Edwards to present to the governing body and for the governing body to ask questions. This will not be a meeting open to the public to speak during this session and there will be no action taken during this meeting.
City hall has limited seating and will restrict the number inside to those seats. The meeting will be available by following this link https://meet.goto.com/ClearwaterCouncilMeeting
