Update From the Mayor

March already! Where does the time go? A few topics to update on:

City Park Shelter rebuild is moving along. With the weather and material delays, the new project completion date is May 1st. The three individual structures are taking shape and the concrete work has been mostly completed. We are very excited to have this new facility open for a great summer use! In addition to the park shelters, there is also work planned on the basketball courts (new surface and paint), some additional concrete to remove the grass areas inside the fence, and longer term plans to upgrade the playground area adding new a safety surface.
