UPDATE FROM THE MAYOR - March 24, 2021
By now I’m sure everyone has been advised of the action taken by the Sedgwick County Commissioners to revoke the local health order and make the wearing of masks “highly recommended.” A copy of the county’s new release is attached.
In an effort to protect the entire public that would wish to enter any city facility, the City of Clearwater will continue to require anyone who enters a city building to continue to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. All local business should “highly recommended” wearing a face mask and practice social distancing while inside. We encourage everyone to get a vaccine as they become eligible. We look forward to getting past the requirements as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.
Mayor Burt Ussery
